Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Tai Chi workshop organized by Chinatown Together. It was a truly enriching experience. Chinatown Together is a group of young English-speaking Chinese people and their friends who care about Chinatown, the seniors living in the community, and justice. I had great conversations with them, and I found out that quite a few of them identified themselves as queer. They either left religious institutions that rejected them or knew little about religion and faith. I hope to keep in touch with them and provide them spiritual support.
