It is with pleasure that I report the success of our first English gathering. We were honored to have Leslie Lai from Union Gospel Mission as our guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on the importance of social justice, care, and outreach. The gathering brought together a diverse group of people from the surrounding area, all of whom participated enthusiastically in meaningful conversations on inclusion and education. Several participants continued to engage in productive discussions after the gathering, which led to a shared understanding of the significance of these topics. We have agreed to schedule another meeting in the near future to continue exploring these important matters. Overall, the gathering has left us feeling hopeful and optimistic about the potential of our community to come together, have constructive conversations, and work collaboratively towards creating a more diverse and inclusive society.
