The HK Fair organized by HK House in North Vancouver’s Shipyard was a huge success, with thousands of people attending. Many Hongkongers have relocated to Canada in the past three years, and the fair has allowed them to reconnect with their Hong Kong culture. Individuals need to learn and adapt to new cultures, but it is also crucial for them to maintain their own cultural identity. As a volunteer and supporter of the event, I was thrilled to play the role of an entrance helper. The experience was enjoyable and fulfilling, and I am grateful to have had a chance to contribute to such a significant event.
