Today, I had an in-depth conversation with a community member, G, about the minimum attention given to the harm reduction debate within his ethnic community. Our dialogue resulted in a productive exchange of perspectives and a greater mutual understanding. While G did not fully support harm reduction, our conversation brought us closer together and helped bridge our differences. We discovered common ground in our shared goal of saving lives and reducing the impact of overdoses on the community. This exemplifies the importance of fostering an inclusive community where meaningful conversations, active listening, and respect are valued. This aligns with the mission of 360 Community, and I am committed to engaging more individuals in uplifting discussions to unite further and strengthen the community.
