One of our long-term volunteers, Grace, died several days ago. The family and many friends, including whom she gave much of her volunteering hours, including Richmond Food Bank and St Albans’ outreach program, came to the church to celebrate her life. Grace cooked meals and served the marginals for many years faithfully. I was moved very much as I listened to many testimonies about her charity work from different people in the community. If more and more people like Grace are willing to offer help to the people in lack, including the homeless, this society and community will have fewer homeless.
